Employee Packages FAQ

If your tracking number indicates your package has been delivered, it likely means UT Mail Services has received it for processing. Visit the UT Mail Services tracking system to track the delivery status.

We honor the carrier’s standards; therefore, most packages are delivered the same day we receive them. We will deliver All express packages within the carrier’s promised time frame.

We deliver/pick up from each designated department stop at least twice daily, Monday through Friday. If you have a special request, contact UT Mail Services at (865) 974-6462.

Departments should process outbound packages with the preferred carrier via an online account. Once you have attached the shipping label, place it at the designated pickup location for UT Mail Services. We will collect it on the next scheduled visit. FedEx, UPS, and USPS will no longer deliver or pick up from individual departments.

The campus’s unique zip code is 37996, which all departments should be assigned as part of their address.

Absolutely! Inform the UT Mail Services courier where the package needs to go. We will use the least expensive carrier option and provide you with a confirmation number.

As a courtesy, UT Mail Services will deliver them with other departmental packages. However, employees should have personal packages shipped to their homes or other preferred location.
